@creativewithjen@TrybeUGC Thatโs exciting!!! I got my first two projects on there this week, and I canโt wait to receive the products and get started! ๐
@irlwithrehrenee Oh yeah, get CC ln desktop!!!! ๐ฅ๏ธ Lifetimes easier than editing on your phone! I have pro, so let me see if I can send you a referral link.
@Evangelinetopaz That sounds like a complete accident or fluke. Idk why a creator would ever find that acceptable to submit, and idk why any brand would approve and put ad dollars behind a blank video, lol. Yeah, something happened.
@MalaikaMHere@TrybeUGC I thought recently updated their rules on this? From my understanding, they changed it so that brands couldnโt change the percentage later.
@naturallyshan so I donโt see it going anywhere soon. The creators who will thrive on Trybe are going to be the ones who know how to write a script and film an ad that sells.
@naturallyshan I come from the product photography space, and we were always taught to charge for licensing, but I dropped it years ago because I was losing work. But UGC? I was shockedddd that licensing is the standard, and it makes sense! It way easier to license YOURSELF
@itsmicheleugc He needs to back up his claims with tips and examples on how we can make high converting ads if heโs going to brag so openly about it ๐
@itsmicheleugc I applied to a Reddit they posted (they didnโt mention their brand name) and they emailed me with an @gmail account. Deleted immediately bc I donโt trust brands that donโt have a domain.
@itsjesslaw Iโm genuinely curious at to why. I have 5+ years in product photography, I dropped licensing years ago because I kept losing work, but I pivoted to UGC <2 months ago and EVERYONE is charging paid usage, so I wanna come full circle and charge for it.
@AlexysUGC@gmail Uhhh, still sounds fishy to me!! ๐ Look, Iโve worked in corporate for small e-commerce businesses and let me tell you, I got set up with my own email immediately. I highly doubt a brand would have a worker sign up for Gmail first. ๐ฌ
@generatedbyann (2/3) We get to know the brand, understand their target audience, what their campaign goals are, and then help them build content around those objectives. (Speaking from the position of a product photographer whoโs transitioning into UGC).
@generatedbyann A creative strategist isnโt a marketing strategist. As a creative person, โstrategyโ to me means that we donโt just pump and dump our creative outputs, we put a lot of thought into the campaign that weโre building with the brand (1/2)
@sincerelydawnUG Oh thatโs a major bummer! I never delete any raw footage ever, I always keep a backup on my external hard drive. Years as a photographer taught me to do this ๐
