3 things to do before you film your first brief as a creator ✨
Getting your first brand brief is exciting until you realize nobody actually explains what any of it means.
As someone who works brand & agency side, these three things will save you a reshoot and have a happy client:
1️⃣ Take a breath between every line so your footage is clean and “cuttable.”
2️⃣ Check the visual column to see what kind of shot you’re actually filming in. Selfie mode, walk and talk, and tripod are not the same thing, and if it's unclear just ask.
3️⃣ If they gave you a script, move your hands and your eyes. A frozen face is what makes it look scripted even when you've memorized it.
Do these three things, make your client and their team's job easy, and you become someone they actually want to keep working with 🤏🏻

@naturallyshannn Oh my gosh, for sure!! I think there’s a ton of good info out there. Also like one commenter said, it’s also the work you have to keep doing after the course/mentorship. This industry is HARD work as we know!!
@bookyello Sometimes the products arrive all at once, I’m also trying to streamline my filming a bit more so they get all done on one or two days. And yes, never just do one niche!! I never thought I’d like beauty, but I love it and always hoping to land more of those.
