PSA ‼️ Please tag @KaiCenat so he can see because I am tired of the run around trying to get justice from what Facebook has done to me (and other content creators) and I am here to explain my story that Facebook owes me $12,000 & damages from losses.

I am so sorry to spring this on you Kai but I have nowhere else to turn to & I just need a bigger voice than mine that can help me deliver a message.

So back in November of 2021 I moved to North Carolina in order to continue my journey as a video gaming content creator and it was going so well until Facebook Gaming decided that they were going to stop paying their content creators money that was incentivized by completing performance bonuses, reels bonuses, start bonuses etc. I have been constantly trying to speak to someone via Facebook support since 2021 and all I have been doing was getting the run around. In July of 2022 I was evicted from my apartment, my car was repossessed and I lost my dog due to not being able to get him medical care I couldn’t afford. Since then I moved from North Carolina, Georgia, Texas & now I am back home in NY because it was the safest option as opposed to being homeless.

I have recently found out that because Facebook was going to fire people from the Facebook Gaming team, the people who are in charge of handling the payouts took the money of the content creators on the platform and converted the money into rupees. And for years no one has been able to get their money (some were able to but you had to be Facebook partner to speak to someone).

I am making this plea for help because people like to make fun of content creators who are not content creators by saying “why don’t you get a real job” & the thing is I have worked 3 jobs from North Carolina to back in New York, but it has not been enough to cover my expenses and the damages left behind from what Facebook did to me. Not to mention I just quit my last retail job on Monday because I had to get a restraining order against a shoplifter.

I am not the only person who has lost so much, I’m sure people have had it worse than me but have given up on trying to get their money back or a response. But I hate that this has gone on and is still happening on a platform that made promises for content creators to make money.

And you can say we’ll have you tried suing them? I have spoken to many of lawyers they say I have a strong case, but the money of paying the lawyers will be an issue. And I cried hearing that.

So I am asking to shed light on this because I have been trying my hardest to make sure I am financially stable/successful enough.
