“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.

By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.

I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.”

Early in the genocide, the Israelis and the Americans (Biden admin and U.S. news media) set out to do two things:

1. Establish every Palestinian claim as a lie and thus Palestinians as liars (Oct 17 Al Ahli Arab Hospital bombing was the foundation).

2. Throw every unfounded/false accusation of barbarity imaginable at Palestinians often enough that it buries every documented Israeli & American crime against the Palestinians in such a way that the primary narrative becomes the (created) oppression of Israelis (and Jewish people overall).

The US news media is committed to maintaining both of these, to varying extents - because these two things form the foundation of this industry’s coverage. To dismantle them would be to dismantle itself.

@AbubakerAbedW A much smaller number of Muslim and/or Arab voters voted for Trump. Some did so because they believed Trump when he said that he would "end wars." Others didn't believe him, but they were so desperate about the genocide that they felt they needed to actively vote against Biden.

BREAKING: 14-year-old Muin Ghassan Fahed Salahat, arrested by Israeli forces last month, has become the youngest Palestinian ever placed under an Israeli administrative detention order. This practice allows authorities to hold Palestinians without charge or trial, using “secret evidence” that neither the detainee nor their lawyer can review. Muin’s detention order, issued on March 2, will keep him in Israeli custody until June 18, 2025.

During his arrest in an overnight raid on his home in Beit Fajjar, West Bank, soldiers attempted to blindfold him and tie his hands behind his back.
