@ShaneSparksBTN@ARobles125 First in-person NCAA Champion for me was in 1983. 118lb Adam Cuestas, Cal State Bakersfield 1983. Second one was 126lb Barry Davis, who wrestled right after Adam.
I was in HS and working the table as a towel tapper.
Jesse, Steve, Laddy, and Vlad….such an incredible feeling to welcome you aboard Integrity after a nearly 700,000 mile journey. Forever thankful for your service to our crew and the nation.
@KozakJon I guess as a clip to support a push out, I didnt think it was great wrestling. I commend their effort though, they are both obviously trying very hard.
Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶

One of the most influential figures in wrestling history passed on March 29, 2026. J Robinson competed for Oklahoma State and qualified for the 1972 Olympic Greco team before a legendary coaching career.
Robinson was an assistant under Gary Kurdelmeier and Dan Gable (1972-84) at the University of Iowa before leading Minnesota to NCAA team titles in 2001, 2002, and 2007. The Golden Gophers were the first team outside Iowa or Oklahoma to win multiple D1 NCAA titles in men’s wrestling.
@paul_mohr2000@Zar__45 Taking on the task of trying to define, let's say, just a single takedown is pretty tough...think of all the scenarios for even just one takedown and then all the defenses being applied to try and stop it. Not saying it wouldn't be good...just hard to do.
All the wrestling folks asking for no reaction time...have you really thought that through?
I am genuinely curious how you think that makes scoring more clear.
@Zar__45 I would contend that how to earn points is very clear and objective.
The problem is the wrestler trying to score doesn't do what is required. When this happens people want "close" to be good enough, but that is not fair to the other wrestler.
