Florian Wirtz is fully aware that he hasn’t had the best start to the season, but those closest to him, including his father and agent Hans-Joachim Wirtz, see absolutely no reason for concern.

His relationship with Andoni Iraola is considered excellent, with Iraola regularly conducting extensive one-to-one video analysis sessions with Florian, something he greatly valued under Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen but did not experience to the same extent under Arne Slot.
