If the average Nigerian can hold govt accountable the way they hold their relatives abroad accountable for gift, your rich uncle who you expected to pay all your schools fees when your dad has 17 children, if you all can hold the govt accountable like this 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
@Lifeofdavie_@iamgoodie01 I have given up on we getting there in my life time cos when you look at some of these things they have been in existence for over 20 yrs and we are not even close to it.
Look at the kind of toll gates we build, no one is using human at toll gates in this era.
When I first moved to the UK, a company sent me a cheque for a refund.
I took the cheque to the bank as we normally do in Najia.
The teller told me I could just scan it via their app. I did, and within seconds, the money was showing incoming in my account.
Then I tried to hand her the physical cheque, but she said, “You can keep it or shred it."
As a former banker, I didn't know how to react.
In Nigeria, banks store physical cheques for 10 years after transaction.
Just like your passport scenario, now you understand the frustration of Nigerians about bad governance? Yet. you are at the forefront cheering on an incompetent government, while Nigerians bear the brunt of it all. If a leader cannot perform, let them resign. An average Nigerian lifespan is too short for any leader to waste 8 years of one's life.
@lifeisyolo__ I have been abroad since 2008 and pretty much visits every year, I still have some extended family members that I haven’t gifted cos they live in other parts of Nigeria, there is only so much one can do, take the gift or let us be abeg
@lifeisyolo__ Why do you think sensosyn means people are suffering ? Or deodorant ? It’s the thought that count.
And you guys in Nigeria forget how many family members can.
@lifeisyolo__ Reading through this post it’s clear so many Nigerians living in Nigeria clearly don’t understand gifting, I go as far as buying beer brands from here for my guys to try and we all laugh and talk about the difference compared to Nigerian beer!!
@DanielRegha Peter Obi: Redirect geniuses from fraud to legit hustle.
You: He DEFENDED yahoo boys!!!
Bro, if calling for solutions = defense, then your brain dey on vacation since 2023. Yahoo boys bad, but government bandits worse. Fix your priority list abeg.
I really can’t get out of my head what has happened to Charlie Kirk. I watched him a lot, not because I agreed with everything he said, but because he was an absolutely formidable commentator and could debate in a relentless, yet respectful way. Shot in the throat for using his voice. I’ll never get that image out of my head. Horrifying.
Instead of sharing the horrific, vile, & heart-stopping video of Charlie Kirk being shot, I urge you to share images of his beautiful family whose worst nightmare has come true.
Every kid deserves a dad.
Every wife deserves a husband.
Every American needs Charlie Kirk.

Most Nigerians have more power supply than they did in 2023. That's not the sort of thing you like, so you had to wait for the national grid to fail, so you could fly in the darkness.
Here is a man who got a chance to say what he'd do about power and his answer was the same as that of a tombo seller.
You've been found out. 2028 will come and you won't be president.
It’s shockingly poetic that a White man not a Black man or immigrant shot Charlie Kirk in cold blood. Lord knows I detest him - a bloody racist anti-muslim zionist bigot. But to shoot him because you don't like his views is absolutely diabolical. I'm genuinely shocked. https://t.co/lpGp9nC42H
What a wicked world. So this man @PeterObi that has shown an exceptional excellence in governance is what we are seeking his down fall. We complain that 99.9% of our politicians are too corrupt, yet this man that has tried to be different cannot be celebrated and appreciated.
We Nigerians are not yet ready to come out from the manipulations of evil and wicked politicians. Those who fight the good will know no good. May God have mercy on us.
