NORAD recently executed Exercise AMALGAM MUTE, a no‑notice, live‑fly training event - this time over the Alaskan region - designed to validate rapid response capabilities across the command.
Check out the speed, precision and professionalism with which Alaskan NORAD Region assets quickly launched and conducted a successful intercept of an airborne track of interest as simulated by #USAF C-21 aircraft.
No notice. No hesitation. Always ready.

👍 C-43 Reservoir in Action!
💦 As South Florida experiences rain for the first time in many months, the Caloosahatchee (C-43) Reservoir is operating and providing regional benefits to the system.
🌱 This over 10,000-acre reservoir expands Florida's water storage capacity, improves water quality and protects ecosystems.
🤝 The C-43 Reservoir is a key component of the joint state-federal Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) to restore the environment in Florida.
