Her name has never been public. She’s a singer from South Central who was flown to Miami by an Arabian Prince who kept promising to introduce her to a producer who would change her life. The producer was P Diddy. The introduction was a freak off.

Adult film star Sly Diggler signed an NDA for a $2,500 night with Diddy before they’d even agreed on a price, and years later federal investigators wanted everything on his phone.

It started at a hotel in Beverly Hills. According to Sly, he signed the NDA before he and Diddy had even settled on how much the meeting was worth. After their first encounter, he walked away with $2,500. The payments didn’t stop there. He says the amount changed depending on how long the private meetings lasted, with Diddy at one point offering an extra $2,000 to continue. Some of their sessions reportedly stretched to 12 hours, others he says ran as long as 16. Years later, those private hotel encounters became part of something much bigger. Sly says Homeland Security contacted him directly about the Diddy investigation, and he traveled to New York twice to speak with federal prosecutors who wanted access to everything on his phone. He says he was subpoenaed and feared jail if he refused to cooperate.

The case for taking Sly seriously is that, according to his account, federal investigators reached out to him rather than the other way around. He also describes specific payments, meetings, and conversations with prosecutors, although those details don't independently prove his claims.

The case against is that he's describing a private arrangement years after the fact, during a highly publicized investigation. His account has attracted attention, and the details of those meetings haven't all been independently verified.

Here's the lesson. An NDA might keep a private arrangement out of public view, but it doesn't automatically protect the people involved from a federal subpoena years later.

So was Sly just a hired performer caught in the fallout of someone else's federal case, or is he now benefiting from publicly telling the story he once agreed to keep private?
