Your speaking from an angle that assumes we were actually winning this war or that the war was winnable. We weren’t and it’s not. Boots on the ground was never a real option because the actual mission at hand was never worth losing people over. Trump was convinced that post decapitation strike the country would fall apart. It didn’t. The country came together like any civilization would when you’re attacked. So trumps leaving. No we physically cannot go get uranium, no we can’t scale their mountains with ground forces, no we can’t bomb them into submission, no we can’t print oil. So you leave.
