Even though thhe Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway was originally planned to hug the Ondo coastline, but soil investigations revealed massive peat deposits 40-50 metres deep along that route. Peat is weak organic soil that must be fully excavated and replaced before any stable road can be built far deeper and costlier here than the manageable layers in Lagos.
Unsuitable marine sand and major water crossings would have required even longer, more expensive bridges. The minister and the engineering team therefore realigned the route to continue via the East-West Road after President Tinubu’s approval.
This was pure prudent engineering, not politics: forcing the original path risked structural failure, chronic flooding, and higher cost and Nigerians should commend the government for prioritising durability and value for money over a rigid “coastal” label.
In short, building on 50-metre peat would have been a disaster waiting to happen!
Making these analysis, forgetting one thing in "23 AA had the pdp and few governors as a structure base, obi did it with no structure and an unpopular vp candidate. In the next election AA is on a new party, no governors, obi has a very popular vp candidate, dynamics has changed
We broke down what the nearly 10 million new registered voters could mean for the 2027 presidential election, including how they are distributed across states and how those states voted in 2023.
You’ll find the analysis interesting.
Mehn Chelsea fans re insufferable. Your team won by 5, move the fuck on to the next game, must y'all complain and whine like Lil bit## all the time. Remember when we use to dominate and stil lose then pat ourselves on the back that we did well. Smh
I really pity you and everything you hold dear —because you’d be really suprised 🫵🏾😂 and the people in the cs cheering you on will not be there 👨🏾🦯➡️
Lol.. You don't even know how it is an indictment on you that the culture you claim to promote, your culture, that you know nothing about it and how it works. But yes all of them are beneath you. The unwillingness to be open minded, me vs them mentality. Smh
Rick Ross ft Nas : Tripple Beam Dream. A masterpiece, from the production to the lyrics. My favorite Ross track and he went bar for bar with Nas, I dare say he edged Nas on this one.
@Pomilej Lol.. A bumbling idiot... Buzz off with this trash. Down the line your family and your future generations will witness the absurdity that you helped grow.
Looked at your pics.. Surely Nigeria hadn't been all that fair to you as well but then you can't even remove the chains from your wretched neck. A slave forever. Verified and stupid
This is your refutal 😭
Just answer us, were Anambra water Corporation workers salary paid throughout your tenure ?
All this, the world Bank, the money accrued and bla bla bla don't cut it.
Answer a direct question for once
I pity those you're consulting for. Except of course you're intentionally throwing your supposed intellect to the bin for political crumbs in which case you be an intentional fool.
This statement is factually false. Borrowing money from a bank creates a debt, a legal obligation to repay. The moment the loan is disbursed and accepted, regardless of whether you spend the funds.
Receiving a paycheck and not spending it does not mean you were never paid.
Taking delivery of goods under an unpaid invoice and leaving them unused does not cancel the payable.
Going to the bank, borrowing, and receiving the money creates debt. Leaving the money unspent does not change that legal and financial reality. 🙄
Sometimes I wonder. You're too educated obviously to be this naive. I remember how you always throw a tantrum about obi and his reluctance about the coalition and when things played out you did a 360. You're too blinded and obviously can't see the bigger picture. It's sad really
@presidentnm@DemolaRewaju He has become every single thing he was preaching against. Again never trust the activism of a poor man. Remember when man used to make threads of political conscious tweets, now see the level he is now. Sad reality
A yoruba woman living in Nigeria indeed.. Lol.. A corpse infested with worms and maggot is better than you. You are filt from inside out. This thing you're living isn't life. Get a grip and reverse course.
Peter Obi, this is exactly why Nigerians need records, not carefully worded narratives.
You gave a specific First Bank account — 2018779464 — and claimed over ₦2.13bn of ecological funds was left there intact when you handed over.
The Anambra State Government has now responded that it obtained a certified statement for that exact account and says it was an IGR Consolidated Revenue Account, not an ecological-fund account, and that the claimed ₦2.13bn never appeared there as either an inflow or balance.
The state has also published records alleging that eight external loans contracted during your administration remained outstanding after you left office.
So enough of the saintly, debt-free narrative. Put the primary records on the table.
Publish the First Bank statement showing ₦2.13bn in that account as of 17 March 2014. Publish the complete debt position at handover. Publish the records supporting the claim that no salaries, pensions, gratuities or certified contractors were outstanding.
Nigerians should scrutinize BOTH sides’ documents instead of whitewashing any politician.
You said: “If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning.”
Well, serious counterclaims have now been made with specific account and loan records. Answer them with the primary documents.
Sen Dickson built a formidable party, got 2 very decent candidates as flag bearers and decided to hand over party comms to 2 of his inept boys, 2 buffoons who have history of hating on the party presidential candidate.
