@Stalemate_delay Fair, I also held this belief till I realised that elevating art to a romanticised, almost sacred thing leads to a mindset where it is easy to pay in "experience"/devalue it because supposedly it's not work if you love it

Remembering when there was practically no film scene on campus and how I owe my whole life, my passion and career to the few people that started it off...so glad/honoured to be one of them

They made a film for a fest! That's so cool! It is SO hard to make films and it is such an inaccessible craft to get into on this campus!! Heart fills with pride every time filmmakers find ways and spaces of making more art in a profession that can be so discouraging
