Imagine if Tom Brady went 3-7 in the Super Bowl instead of 7-3 and spent a decade plus hiring sports analysts to convince everyone Joe Montana wasn't shit.
It would be sad as hell.
Draymond calls out the Knicks
“Just like Becky Hammon said, prove me wrong…You’re supposed to get out of the East. It’s the f*cking East!”
(h/t @NBA__Courtside )
LeBron going to 8 straight finals was tougher than Jordan winning 3, taking 2 years off and winning 3 more
It’s VERY VERY hard to get to the finals
Yes sir, ask OKC
Jay Williams says he can’t root for the Thunder because of all the foul baiting:
“As a fan of the game, I just want to see the game respected. There are times where I watch OKC play, I don’t feel like they respect the process of the game. It’s too much foul baiting. When you fall down 95% of every shot you take in the 4th, I get physiologically exhausted”
@shaiglalex brother you say MJ is the blue print.. now i dont know what MJ you were watching brother but this is not what MJ was about! time to start playing like man people
@nbarealist23 None of these things you held your beer for show "Why is Jordan better without saying 6 rings" you named specific things LeBron doesn't have 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤣🤣
@ScullyWrestleZz he just finished the resume and you literally said thats just things lebron doesnt have??? it not just six rings is how he won them! two dynasties with the same team!!!! wake up!!!
Hold my beer.... MJ did this in 10 FEWER FULL SEASONS:
- More MVPs
- More Finals MVPs
- More Defensive Player of the Year Awards
- More All-Defense Selections
- More Scoring Titles
- More Steals Titles
- Better Per-Game Stats (Reg & Playoffs)
- More times leading the League in Advanced Metrics
- More times making both All-NBA and All-Defense in the same Season
- Better Game Winning/Tying Shot Clutch Metrics
- Faced better overall playoff competition (Teams with a higher avg Win Total, Net Rating, SRS)
- Best player on the greatest dynasty of the modern era
- Best combined reg season & payoff record (87-10)
- Undefeated (24-0) when having home court advantage
- 24-1 in the playoffs as a favorite
There is no other example in sports where the player with inferior Rings, MVPs, FMVPs, per-game stats is somehow considered the "GOAT". Not one.
Michael Jordan peaked higher, was more individually dominant, led more dominant teams, and on a per-game basis, was simply better during an era where the rules were designed to undermine Wing players.
Lebron James, while great, simply played longer and accumulated more total stats and accolades
