My life in summary:
A hospital background because #EssentialWorker,
#Coffee because I have to be polite to people,
#Book because I can't kill myself
And #laughter because #YOLO
@ThatPHCBoy Oh yes. We are overfeeding children a lot. Even from the first month of life, I've seen a lot of children being fed twice sometimes thrice their daily requirements.
So imagine my surprise to see all this and even get a gift from the consultant team. And they chose well because I'm always wearing colourful socks.
This warms my heart.
As Resident doctors, we are constantly rotating through hospitals. Its not unusual for your last shift to finish at 10pm or midnight and no one acknowledges it.

You mean People-Pleaser?
Because all the takes I'm seeing point towards being a "nice" person. And no one is perennially nice. People-pleasing is a direct consequence of childhood trauma. So I suppose the real question is, What's a subtle sign of childhood trauma?
ED Night shift last week, saw a lot of bronchi and croupy children. We joked about offering children dex at the front door because they are pouring in.
Another night shift this weekend, wish me luck.
