Meet Labour Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson.

She just took the stage at the Reading and Leeds Festival to launch a massive PR campaign about violence against women.

But let us look at what she is actively ignoring.

Rhiannon Whyte was a 27 year old British mother who was stalked and murdered by a Sudanese illegal migrant housed in a taxpayer funded asylum hotel.

She suffered 27 horrific stab wounds!

Her grieving mother Siobhan has begged Labour for answers, sent two letters to Downing Street, and called their refusal to release migrant crime data absolute diabolical. Not a single Labour MP will even meet with her!

Yet Phillipson has plenty of time for festival photo ops, watering down guidance so boys can use primary school girls changing rooms, and letting five year olds change gender with a note.

She preaches about safety while ignoring a young mother slaughtered by Labour's open border policies. The mask has completely slipped.

But Middlesbrough isn’t a vision of the past … it’s a vision of the future across the UK

deindustrialisation, welfare dependency, poor schools, weak policing, no aspirations and a political culture focused on race.

I say it’s a vision of our future because there is no true growth in the economy and so there will be decreasing opportunities.

We already have millions unemployed and this will only increase as Ai destroys entry level and middle income jobs, More young people will see little point in education because there will be no jobs waiting at the end of it.

Many towns and regions will end up like Middlesbrough, with crime the only route to cash.

Add weak policing, soft leftie punishment attitudes, more welfare dependency and communities with no hope of change and you have a recipe for serious disorder across vast areas of Britain.

And then there’s the Government’s solution … Digital ID, facial recognition, drones, AI surveillance, joined up government databases and a permission based life will be sold as the way to control unhappy masses.

In fact, I think many will may DEMAND the surveillance state because they are frightened of the alternative.

Exactly as has been mapped out and, exactly as is being legislated for.

Another week, another truly mental story.

Birmingham City Council has applied for an injunction that could see patriots who fly the Union Jack from lampposts spend two years in prison.

But this isn’t an isolated case. Oxfordshire County Council has also secured a High Court injunction prohibiting people from flying the Union Jack or St George’s Cross from lampposts.

Threatening people who are proud of their national flag and want to celebrate it is not only an attack on patriotic Brits, but also an assault on freedom of expression.

With prisons already at breaking point and rapists and killers being released early, who on earth thinks this is a good idea?

Patriotism isn’t a crime in Britain — yet. But it looks like it could be soon.
