@EnsnaredByFlesh@Atlas_Leather If you took a video of yourself performing the deadlift and hyper extension and cropped everything out so that you could only see your body, you’d see that you’re performing the EXACT same hip-hinge movement.
@zato275764@thebbvegan Well he’s also on steroids so that’s why it’s not an issue for him. Do you see the enlarged right titty in his pfp? That’s a result of steroid abuse, called gyno. Search it up if you don’t believe me.
@Radalict@United_Africana Deadlifts are dangerous. My initial point was that you could substitute the deadlift for movements such as hyper extensions to get the same benefits of a hinge movement without the inherent risk of damaging your spine.
@Radalict@United_Africana This is 100% false. Professional runners get Achilles tears all the time with perfected running form. Perfect bench pressers suffer pec or rotator cuffs all the time with perfect bench form. Deadlifting… you know the rest.
@EliteDanno You can train every muscle you just listed individually and with an exercise that won’t place you at inherent risk of spinal or worst injury. Grip? Grip trainer. Hamstrings? Ham curls + hyper extensions. Core? Direct core work, sit ups, cable crunches, etc.
@becometheknight@United_Africana@grok Yeah, you could also perform a burpee and say that it hits most of your anterior chain, but is it the most effective? No.
