I wish people understood that when someone seems to overexplain, it's often because of how much they've been misunderstood. They're trying to give you information that they assume is hard to understand based on how they've been treated. This deserves compassion, not criticism
I just realized people who overexplain themselves aren’t looking for validation. They’re just used to not being believed - forced to prove their memories, their pain, their worth, their truth - until they’re exhausted from just existing
Never ignore the efforts of someone who tries to stay in touch. I can tell you, A lot of people really don't care about you. When someone remembers to text, call, and catch up. Give them the audience. It's not all the time people actually care
Adult friendships require a lot of understanding. People go to work. People are busy. People are healing. People are growing. People are taking time for self care just like you. Do not mistake less communication for less love.

Ghosting is immature behavior, it shows lack of respect, poor communication, and disregard for others' feelings. When someone disappears instead of speaking honestly, they reveal their weakness. Never tolerate it, demand clarity, and protect your dignity by cutting them off.
Someone told me:
"You could literally be fighting for your life, and some people will only notice how you're not showing up for them"
Let that sink in.
Every time I get hurt I decide to change and become a more distant and cold person but then suddenly I go back to being kind and talkative as if nothing ever happened. That basically sums me up as a person.
I'm in love with this quote: 'If it doesn't happen the way you wanted, it will happen in a better way than you imagined.' That's the beauty of God's plan.
