@Billsnce I mean that seems more like a pretty easy red herring than a direct response to a fan theory, unless she actually said something to the contrary on twitter or whatever
You know, I think TADC is one of the only pieces of media where even fans can’t tell you why they think it’s good. I’ve asked multiple people and it always just boils down to them saying "it’s good", never ever EVER them explaining why they think that.
@SHSLRuby@swap_iii I mean to a degree, but I think it’s safe to say you can look at something, see what it was going for, and judge how well it executed that idea with a fair degree of objectivity.
@irazukis That’s what always gets me. It’s a character driven show with very surface level characters. It could be great, but it feels like they’re afraid to let the characters develop into anything interesting or compelling.
@SHSLRuby@swap_iii I see what you mean, but I don’t know if I agree. In my experience, separating my personal enjoyment of something from whether I think it accomplished what it was trying to do well helps me appreciate it more, especially if it’s something I like that I don’t think is "good"
@TnyWasUsedAgain Do wish they’d have spent more time on character development. It seemed like they were terrified to have a scene go on for more than 2 minutes before they interjected with a joke and moved on. I feel that there was a much more interesting story that could’ve been told with time.
@swap_iii This is true, and I’m happy so many people do like it, but a lot of people conflate liking something with it being inherently good, which is not the case. I’m not upset that people like it, just pointing out that they typically can’t articulate why they think it’s good very well.
@Billsnce I highly doubt the She wrote the show to fuck with fans she didn’t agree with, I think people just didn’t like her vision for the character and story and took it as a personal insult She wrote it in a way they disagreed with.
@GoombaFallacy0 Ok, this kind of proves my point exactly. I’m talking about the show being not good in a very broad sense, not whether or not the ending "made sense" in the context of the rest of the show. Being of narrative quality throughout and the ending making sense are 2 different concepts
In the morning, a drop of Pam’s overflowing grool drips from her suspended body, splashing into an empty bucket, triggering a Rube-Goldberg machine of marbles, coins, and Paper. Eventually, the machine wakes me up by placing Pam’s cunt gently on my face like Darth Vader’s helmet.
@DymeArachnyd Any time I've seen this on an account its invariably either a honest to god pedophile, or a minor who's more than likely been groomed soft launching their nsfw patreon.
