DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. This is an AI clip. The poster is part of an indie show that the person who leaked the finale on discord (Natz) is creating. They’ve been going around creating fake ai clips of gooseworx to slander her. Deeply dystopian stuff. Honestly terrifying.

@SuperWiiBros08@xXRyth1mXx He’s part of an indie show that the person who leaked the finale on discord (Natz). They’ve been going around creating fake ai clips of goosewrox to slander her. Deeply distopian stuff,
@burgdeepdive I think Rick has been wiping his memory temporarily to hang out with these guys and have a bit of reprieve. My prediction is we’ll see this memory-wiped version of rick slowly and horrifically realize who he actually is. Like severance.
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ His “punishment” isn’t committing suicide. That’s his tragic fate. His “punishment” is entirely self-afflicted, that’s the point. Jax deserved better, but it’s not the job of a narrative to doll out equal karmic justice to each character. Its job is to portray a message.
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ Well yeah, that’s what makes it tragic. It’s not the responsibility of every work of fiction that includes a suicidal person to show them getting better. Works of fiction should be allowed to show the tragic consequences of suicide as a cautionary tale.
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ Well yeah it makes perfect sense. He realizes all the damage he did was real, which gave him overwhelming guilt. Despite what Jax may tell you and himself, he’s not heartless.
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ Kinger pressed the delete button, yes, but if you rewatch the scene closer you see that bubble actually pressed confirm multiple times afterwards to confirm deleting Caine.
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ That’s Jax’s character flaw. Caine realizes the same thing, but decides to better himself instead of giving up. Asking Jax to do the same would be narratively redundant. What’s wrong with showing flawed characters doing flawed things?
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ It’s a cautionary tale against suicide. Jax regretted committed committing suicide, so you shouldn’t commit either. That’s the basic message.
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ Well that’s the tragedy. Jax had no reason to kill himself. He didn’t “deserve” to die either, despite what Jax might tell himself. He killed himself because he thought his situation was unfixable, when that wasn’t true. It’s tragic bc Jax only realizes this after he commits. 1/2
@t4pril@AveriZero0@Purple_Sky____ Oy. Writer of the document here. I’d love to hear your arguments about why Jax committing suicide is a bad ending! Im currently making a more comprehensive version and would love more perspectives to argue against. Thanks.
@looofiez Now that ppl are finally coming out with more sensible takes (both positive and negative about the finale) now that it’s out in theaters, my document covering the obvious message becomes less relevant as it just becomes the default intepretation. Which is a good thing, imo.
@looofiez My document becomes less and less relevant the more time passes. I originally wrote it when the conversation surrounding the finale skewed towards bad-faith and willfully obtuse arguments because all the ppl who were talking abt it didn’t respect goose enough to not discuss leaks
