I INDEPENDENTLY SEARCHED NIGERIA'S BUDGET DOCUMENTS FROM 2019 TO THE PRESENT. HERE IS WHAT I FOUND ABOUT THE PFIPC SCANDAL THAT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT.
THE NAME DID NOT COME FROM NOWHERE
Everyone is focused on Adeyemi the man. Nobody has gone back to ask where the name "Presidential Economic Advisory Council" actually came from. I did. And the answer changes this entire story.
The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is not a Tinubu creation. Tinubu's economic body is called the Presidential Economic Coordination Council. He established it in March 2024, inaugurated it in July 2024, and chairs it himself alongside Dangote, Elumelu, the Senate President and the Governors Forum Chairman. It has a different name, a different structure and a different budget code.
The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is a creation of Buhari. Buhari established it in September 2019 to replace the Economic Management Team that Osinbajo was heading. It had real named members. Prof. Doyin Salami as chairman. Charles Soludo. Bismark Rewane. Eight economists reporting directly to the President with a defined mandate and a legal institutional identity.
When Tinubu came in and created the PECC in 2024, the Buhari-era PEAC was never formally dissolved. No gazette removing it. No Budget Office circular revoking its institutional identity. It simply went dormant. But dormant in Nigeria's government system is not the same as deleted.
That dormant status is exactly what was exploited.
Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Mathew WILL NOW HAVE HIS DAY IN COURT where he will be able to tell Nigerians how he was 'appointed' as Director-General of a pseudo 'Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council'. Who appointed him, was he screened, sworn in or given a marching order? Who are his references, how he opened a CBN account, how he got office space at the government Secretariat? Among others. All these tantalising questions will be deliciously answered in Court. The FG must not take this case with levity, not just Adeniyi but all his accomplices within and outside the government MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND JUSTICE SERVED. I commend Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission that busted Adeniyi's antics to the FG. Kudos!
Nigeria Police Force has now filed an eight-count charge against alleged fraudster, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Mathew and two accomplices, identified only as Femi and Anu, who are currently at large, at the Federal High Court on November 27, 2025, under a charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/2025.
The defendants are accused of conspiracy to commit forgery, forgery of presidential appointment documents, forgery of official State House letterheads, forgery of requests for office accommodation and collaboration with government ministries, impersonation as Director-General of the purported council, and forgery of additional official correspondence intended to give legitimacy to the fictitious organisation.
Count Two of the charge stated, “That you, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Mathew, forged an appointment letter purported to have been issued by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and signed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.”
Count Five , “That you falsely personate as the Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council.”
The Presidency said Adeyemi had been on court bail when he recently resurfaced with a fresh claim that Gbajabiamila had appointed him as Director-General of the same fictitious agency, a claim that contradicted his own statement to the police made in November 2024 and prompted the Chief of Staff to issue a public disclaimer on June 8, 2026. He is due in court on *July 27, 2026*.
According to the Presidency, the case originated from complaints by officials of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission that another body appeared to be functioning at cross-purposes with it.
@Theball_hub Didnt Arsenal pay £105m for Rice from Westham? U want to tell me when Arsenal got him he was worth that amount or they were desperate just as Tottenham are now?

Now that Nigeria just discovered lithium and rare earth deposits in Kaduna and Abuja worth an estimated $2 trillion.
Maybe, just maybe, Elon Musk will start smiling at Nigeria now.
Tesla needs lithium. We have lithium. So here is what I want as part of any deal that gets signed. We don’t just want extraction contracts that ship our wealth out raw while we get crumbs.
I want a Tesla manufacturing centre built right here in Nigeria. To be precise Bwari, Abuja close to the factory Wike brought to bwari.
Give us the processing plants. Give us the jobs. Give us the technology transfer. Let Nigerians be the ones turning raw lithium into batteries and vehicles, not just digging it out of the ground for someone else to profit from three times over.
We have made this mistake with oil for sixty years. Dig it raw, ship it out, buy it back refined at ten times the price. I refuse to watch us repeat that with lithium while calling it a win.
Elon, if you are reading this, Nigeria has the resource. Bring the factory. Build with us, not just from us.
• Pés paralelos e ossos do calcanhar extremamente fortes e desenvolvidos.
Algumas frases da matéria;
REMINDER:
Iran faced:
- Visa issues
- Travel restrictions
- Supporters having ticket allocations revoked
- Their domestic league suspended since February due to the war, affecting 17 of the 26-man squad
- Constant political pressure from the media
Yet they finished their 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage undefeated.
3 matches.
3 draws.
3 goals scored.
They refused to be beaten.
Bravo, Iran.👏 🇮🇷
All that Team Melli has accomplished amid the discrimination and adversity they have endured this World Cup is nothing short of a miracle.
Their preparation disrupted by war, last-minute relocation, visa uncertainty, game-day travel, immigration hurdles, and unequal treatment from FIFA and the hosts.
They came here as athletes, but were forced to carry politics they did not create, do not control, and should never have been made responsible for because of their nationality.
Through it all, they reflected the people of Iran: resilient, persevering, and dignified despite war, decades of sanctions, maximum pressure, discrimination, double standards, and hypocrisy.
