@Greggofboken1 @drfonta The main thing Mendy did that I had a problem with was yank starters too quickly. I know I sound like an old fart saying that because it's going on all over MLB, but it felt a little more extreme with him. Too many guys get to the 6th, put one guy on, and yoink.

@drfonta @Greggofboken1 It kind of felt to me like Stearns whiffed on getting what he wanted and then threw a lot of money around to keep the fans off his ass. The end result looked OK on paper, but like you said, they all had question marks.

When the others got more involved, it was magic. And then he winds up carrying the team anyway...lol.

Can you imagine if 23 yo Shaq had lashed out like this kid does? He would have put people in the hospital every night! He'll grow up, but the NBA slowed the process.
