Beautiful Worcester Cathedral. Built in the site of an Anglo-Saxon cathedral, the earliest parts of the current building are 12thC, with many later additions. The tomb memorials inside are particularly impressive. #worcestercathedral
A blackout curtain is an indispensable part of our toolkit. Even without a torch in hand it can make inscriptions legible but with a strong torch it often shows up very faint letters. Photo by Quin Heritage Group on @HeritageHubIRE funded project. Ann and Joe in action.

A beloved hillfort: Remesar (A Estrada, #Galicia). Immersed in a delightful countryside, the thick old-growth forest hides a Late Iron Age powerful stronghold.
Remesar is my usual stop in the summer evening lazy walks, and is plenty of little nice stories.
