We have had so much fun dressing up in our brightest clothes as part of Day Glow Day. We have been learning how we need to be bright and stay safe as the mornings and evenings become darker. Our charity this year is @GOSHCharity, which has special importance for us.

What a great day! It’s Hero Day at CIS. We are collecting money for @GOSHCharity which has special importance for us in school at present. The children and staff look amazing dressed as inspiring heroes.

Local author Craig McCann came into school to read his books. The children had lots of questions about how to become an author and his main advice was to read lots of different books to enhance your imagination! How many books can you read this weekend?

We are all deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. For more than 70 years, she exemplified selflessness, leadership and grace. Our deepest condolences to the Royal Family.

We had so much fun keeping fit at our Big Dance today - in two groups this year to be Covid safe. We performed 10 dances in total which is pretty impressive for our young children. @afPE_PE This one is a firm favourite though @LittleMix

We had lots of fun today when the Easter Bunny visited. Huge thanks to our fabulous @churchfieldspta for organising and also @waitrose in South Woodford for kindly donating some Easter eggs for our children. Happy holidays everyone......
