Every computing topic is themed around a future career in computing. This half term, Year 5 are learning how to be architects. They have started constructing 3D art galleries to display their own digital art.
Year 3 and 4 had a wonderful Sports Day on Friday. Beneath the warm sun, all children showed determination, enthusiasm and encouragement towards others. Well done! Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to come along and support the children.
We are kick starting transition season with a visit to @churchfieldsjs it was really great to meet the newest members of #TeamWoodbridge thanks for the warm welcome. π
So grateful that the CCTV cameras are now installed outside churchfields junior school to ensure the safety of our children arriving and leaving. my thanks to parents,carers,teaching staff,council officers and the staff from parking and highways for supporting this long campaign
To mark the Coronation we have planted the native wildflower seeds from @educationgovuk@NickGibbUK and @EdenProject. We hope to see them attracting insects, bees and birds when they grow on the wildflower bank outside Year 5 and the picnic area soon.
We always start PE with running which paid off at today's Spring Run @FairlopWaters .... these individuals got Golds and helped our running teams to WIN the competition! Congratulations runners!

Year 4 have been baking bread this week. They have been taught the function of each ingredient and they all baked beautiful (and tasty!) plaited rolls. π
Dr Bike is at Churchfields! The expert bike mechanic is on hand to assess what needs doing, adjust anything minor and advise on bigger jobs. @CycleConfident

Ahoy there! We have a new galleon that has sailed onto our school field! The children have enjoyed using the slides, climbing the rigging and sitting in the hammocks!
Year 3 have had a wonderful first day. They have all chosen a reading book, had a tour of the school and experienced their first lessons. Well done to all our new pupils.
Our pupils and Mrs Emeny met the Mayor of London today at Elmhurst Gardens and talked about air pollution and the Breathe London air quality monitor. We hope air quality in the area can be improved
Today I visited a playground just outside the North Circular where community group @MumsForLungs are installing an air quality sensor to monitor pollution. It's one of the ten sensors funded by my Breathe London program, helping to provide hyperlocal air quality data
