So many people had to witness this horrific situation and are not ok. This could happen to anyone. The media hasn’t reported it yet, perhaps assuming it was a suicide attempt but we can’t let @GOtransit get away with such dangerous platforms during construction.

Commuters, this was NOT intentional. Due to construction limiting platform space, she was pushed too close to the train and it hit her knapsack and pulled her under. @GOtransit must be held accountable. She’s a single mom of 2 boys.

I’m glad we’ve been able to blow this story up enough on social media to push the cops to re arrest the kid on Thursday after doing so the week before and sending him home.

@KapoglisSteve @TheTorontoSun I agree that Reddit should not be the only source, but if a journalist finds a newsworthy story on Reddit, they should absolutely follow up with fact checking. Sadly, this story is true and likely only got police acting right because of the outrage on Reddit.

@kzfarmfam @TorontoStar His family has lived on that street for decades. Both victims, his mom & grandma are white women. He’s been off his meds. Mental illness and domestic violence are issues that can happen anyone, regardless of their ethnicity.

@curiousgirl_111 @djstrickland She reminds me of the woman in the Bible who wouldn’t stop crying out for justice against her adversary and was finally given justice. Some anger is righteous. I think we all should be angry that Bruxy refuses to repent and shows no compassion for his victims.
