For other protagonists (just the originals, I ran out of ideas for the New Chapters), I had talked about this with my friends, and this is what I got:
Tanta = dog
Dante & Azul = lobsters
Dartan = mouse
Leon = lizard
Ares = lion
Dia = swan
Hien = swallow

I might draw them one day

As for why Dartan is a mouse, it's because I saw Jerry the mouse as a musketeer when I was a child

As for Jeanne, lamb/sheep just makes sense, although a bunny would be cute as well

Saqqara is a cat, so we'll get a really messed up Tom & Jerry
