Having answers instantly available has destroyed the human ability to sit with a hard problem. The exact second a task gets difficult, you ask AI for a solution instead of thinking it through. You are outsourcing your logic and turning your brain into a copy-paste engine.

We reaffirm our resolve to empower our youth, strengthen research ecosystems and harness science and technology for national development and global good.
Remarkable speech from @MarkJCarney, urging allies to stop playing along with great-power intimidation. Compliance won’t buy safety, he warns. Stop appeasing bullies. Carney draws applause.
Citing Václav Havel, he says it’s "time for companies and countries to take their signs down." Under communism, ordinary people displayed slogans like "Workers of the world, unite!" even when they didn’t believe them, rituals of compliance meant to avoid trouble. Coercion, Havel argued, wasn’t always enforced through violence, but through quiet, everyday participation in a lie.
Carney receives a standing ovation at the end of his speech.
Extraordinary to see Canada asserting this kind of moral and strategic leadership, something we haven’t witnessed on the world stage in decades, especially at a moment when we have so much to lose if Trump chooses retaliation.
11 LinkedIn level life lessons we can learn from stray dogs 🫡

Build trust and love first, money does not matter. Impact does.

Bark up.. I mean, speak up, even if you’re rough around the edges. Silence won’t get you noticed.

The appreciations and excitement around #Khaleja re-release reassures the faith of a filmmaker or an artist to create something that lasts, that speaks their heart, that reflects their love for their craft because as proven by Khaleja, a good piece of art will always get its due, not everything clicks at the word go, somethings take time, so all an artist got to do is pour their soul into what they are making, cuz if not immediately, the success they strive for, will eventually come to their doorstep. It might be a little long wait but the success of Khaleja shows that it’s gonna be much more sweeter than they could imagine.

Your favourite Indian polity book doesn't make sense anymore. It's bulky and irrelevant for UPSC Mains.
I received a revised copy of @rangarajan_ias sir’s book ‘Polity Simplified’. - latest edition and it's even more lucrative than the last one.
You must have read sir’s articles in The Hindu newspaper on a regular basis, a surprisingly good book, not bulky (450 pages only) and to-the-point content.
I'm also astounded that this book can answer 10 direct questions of Polity for the UPSC Prelims 2025.
[BTW I am planning a giveaway of 3 copies of this book, and you know what to do, 500 likes and 100 retweets.]
Here are 3 interesting features i liked about the book. Check out this thread

In UPSC and Government Exams Journey,
Parents, sometimes (not always), play a very negative role. Their social prestige, burden of expectations, the quest to outshine the society, and comparison with peers put an aspirant to great mental trauma due to which the aspirant is never able to open up to them freely, leading to anxiety and mental stress.
Attended the Civil Investiture Ceremony-II, where the Padma Awards were presented. The Padma awardees have made notable contributions to our society. The life journeys of those who were conferred the Padma are deeply motivating.
