I can’t understand how a country can place your country under a visa ban, while you go ahead and sign an agreement with them for them to plunder your mineral resources.
I hate Nigeria so much, I really do, I hate its leaders more.
I received an email from @flyairpeace this morning informing me that the company “has approved a 25 percent discounted one-way ticket (exclusive of tax)” on any of their domestic routes “as compensation” for the aborted Lagos - Enugu flight, which was scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2026 by 6:45 AM.
This offer, is apparently in compliance with the directive issued to the airline by the @NigeriaCAA after my public statement on Monday, which directed the airline to compensate me and other aggrieved passengers.
This modest effort by Air Peace to assuage me and other aggrieved passengers should not detract from the fundamental issue, namely: the perennial lackluster, arrogant and frustrating attitude of the company.
This wasn’t an isolated occurrence.
Flight cancellation and delay have been normalized by Air Peace.
Official data from NCAA shows that 71% of their local flights were delayed in August 2026 alone. That is outrageous.
Air Peace should realize that it can no longer continue to operate with impunity.
While the swift response of @mikeachimugu01 and NCAA in this case are commendable, there is no doubt that we need a stiffer and stronger regulatory framework in the aviation industry to protect the rights of air passengers.
We will continue to hold Air Peace and other airlines accountable.
Today we wrote to 30+ multinational funders, election partners and diplomatic missions that support or engage with INEC, urging them to back five concrete transparency commitments ahead of 2027.
We also sent a 130- page evidence pack that supports our advocacy with data and facts.
And we drew their attention to Nyesom Wike's interview on TVC yesterday.
If a politician can say he "stopped" a candidate from winning, and legitimacy is whatever INEC declares, then INEC's systems must be transparent and independently verifiable.
We will keep pushing.

Dispatch Rider Speaks Out Over Delay In PVC Collection
“Last month, I went to Eti-Osa LGA in Lagos to request for my Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC). I was told it was not ready and that I should come back the following month.
I returned today, more than a month later, only to be told that they are still not distributing the PVCs. I don’t know what INEC and APC are doing. Nigerians should not keep quiet about this.”

I don’t think political parties, CSOs and Nigerians are doing enough to hold INEC accountable.
Right now, INEC is the institution with the greatest responsibility for making the electoral process credible. Politicians will always look for loopholes to exploit.
We need the Martin Luther King Jr. approach: organized, peaceful and sustained civic pressure.
And we need the Malcolm X approach: aggressive, guerrilla-style advocacy that is unconventional, relentless, disruptive and impossible to ignore.
INEC must fall in line. Do the right thing. Open up the system.
2027 must be different.

oh yes, it's part of their strategy. Creating an illusion that your votes don't count, a false picture of how powerless we are as a people, so no need to vote. It's mental warfare
The person who’s campaigning to be the next governor and is the current deputy governor is busy campaigning with drone shows that likely cost millions while tax-paying citizens are living in filth.
