One of the things that make me grateful for seeing another is trying new things, especially with food. After trying guacamole for the first time, I'm even more curious about other things I'll actually enjoy in this lifetime that I haven't tried yet.
I guess the whole talk of "decentering" is really just about centering yourself more. So instead of eagerly thinking of ways to decenter this and that, the focus should be: how do I center myself more? I think it gets seemingly easier approaching it from this point of view.
May I never lose my wonder. May I never lose my spark. May it never be said of me that I had so much to offer with nothing to show for it; so much potential but fell off somewhere along the track. May all that is within me continually spring forth till I get to the end of myself.
