Power was always with the people. The difference is, now they know it.🇰🇪
🧵Today, we stand united in celebration of a monumental victory for @MIHCWUnited. The Michigan Senate’s passage of SB 790 & 791 marks a transformative moment for all who have tirelessly fought to restore collective bargaining rights and secure funding for long-term care. 1/4
More May Day solidarity! There is power in unity and CIR members from hospitals all around the country have joined forces today for global solidarity, as well for collective actions at their own shops.
We are proud to stand with @kmpdu, on #MayDay and beyond!
All healthcare workers around the world deserve to be safe and supported. Because healthcare is a human right!

One of my favourite Kenyanisms is “Sisi wote hapa ni watu wazima”. A statement, threat, boundary, warning and a declaration of war. It really cracks me up 😂
@lovettejallow @Lynetteskii_13 For sure those boundaries need to be held tight ! Also often there's usually a lack of awareness of the other person and their emotional state or needs.
@lovettejallow @Lynetteskii_13 Am so happy I read this today ! It has provided so much clarity for a friendship that has had so much emotional dumping. Struggling to be a community, but also realizing I lack the capacity !
Proud to stand with Aegis Ravenna workers who voted to join @seiu775 last March but are still in bargaining for better wages. Most of them barely make above minimum wage, and certainly not a living wage. One job should be enough in King County. CC: @RDembowski
