@CMGIField Yeah that’s fair, my dad is definitely the one who got me into them when I was a kid. Highly recommend at least checking out the first one though, probably Spielberg’s best imo
Always been insane to me how much people shit on the fridge nuke scene in this movie when this scene is so clearly much much worse. I actually don’t think the movie is THAT bad, but this part is just indefensible
Haven’t watched Shia LaBeouf (40 today) vine-swinging with monkeys in Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull in 18 years, and somehow it’s even worse than I remember.
It feels like Spielberg had a brain fart, then made us sit through it.
Went a few weeks ago and tried to discreetly order a drink mid movie, only to find that my phone had done that thing where it automatically jacks up your brightness to 100% when you’re in dark room. Felt a deeply profound sense of shame. Horrible, horrible business decision
For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.
