at the moment they are using usdt0 that basically is a sneaky version of a CBDC with zero privacy.

liquid support in usdt0 is unlikely because usdt0 uses layerzero smartcontract interoperability while liquid is a btc sidechain without EVM / crosschain messaging.
it would require a custom bridge, so integration depends on tether’s decision rather than technical compatibility
