While working in our archives, I found an old metal box. Inside was a long-forgotten roll of silent 8mm film marked "The Philippines 1942"

Excited at possibly discovering lost WW II footage, I sent it to specialists for care and digitization.

@casseagull I’m dogsitting at my in-laws in DC and my wife & I are actively seeking out things to fix. So far we’ve fixed taps, toilets, replaced a doggy door, added weather stripping, replaced 🔥 extinguishers, sanded down doors that caught rugs, etc. We are learning so much in the process!

@HeatherBadenoch We got to do it IRL when my wife became a citizen and it was magic! Best was the audience gasp when the US was listed as a country people were leaving from. It was like no one could believe an American would want to become a Canadian. Ha! Congratulations, Paul!!!!
