💔 Update on Katie – Why We’re No Longer Depending on the HSE
At this stage, we’ve reached a breaking point.
For 15 years, Katie has been put on lists.
Waiting lists. Review lists. Discussion lists.
Lists that lead nowhere while her pain gets worse.
And now, even with her hip 50% dysplastic, her pelvis rotated, her femur twisted, and her life completely controlled by pain — the same pattern continues. Delays. Excuses. More waiting.
The October report still hasn’t arrived. The list of questions I gave the consultant back in October still hasn't been answered.
The HSE won’t act until we get an updated report from Dr. Paley — and we can’t get that until March, because that’s the next time he’s in Poland.
Surgeons here will “discuss” her case on Tuesday… and IF they think they might be able to do something, THEN they’ll consider examining her.
Always “if.”
Always “then.”
Always “wait.”
Well, we’re done waiting.
We are no longer depending on the HSE — because all they ever do is put Katie on another list.
And Katie doesn’t have time for lists.
She needs action.
She needs treatment.
She needs hope.
A global expert has already said her hip can be saved.
The people who failed her for 15 years are not going to be the ones to fix her now.
So we are fighting with everything we have to get her to Dr. Paley — the one person who has a real plan to rebuild her hip properly and give her life back.
We are doing this ourselves.
For Katie.
Because no child should suffer like this while a system shrugs its shoulders.
If you can help — by donating, sharing, or even spreading her story — you are helping us get one step closer to giving Katie the pain-free life she deserves.

Thank you to everyone who stands with us.
We won’t stop. Not now. Not ever.
