20-year-old Yousaf Ghaffar who was paralysed from the waist down in a road crash has been learning how to walk again after a pioneering spinal procedure. He can now experience sensation and movement in his legs after the groundbreaking treatment | https://t.co/pWQpEFcvlM
Rather than contracting a floating liquified natural gas ship to provide energy security for the country, we should build new electricity inter-connectors, battery storage systems and back up power plants. https://t.co/iSvW2o5UG7
@PadderToeBean@pippa_hackett Carbon tax is ring fenced money. Some goes towards retrofitting grants but a larger portion goes to retrofitting social housing and homes of those on fuel allowance, also certain grants for small farmers.
I can see the logic in this approach.
@davidbgeary @paulanthonylake And which other EU states are no more?
Do you not agree your language here is hyperbolic? Won't you consider that spreading fear like this is damaging and irresponsible?
@davidbgeary @paulanthonylake I don't see the danger that you seem to see in that. We change from one definition of 'Irish' to another every generation. We should value our history, customs agus ár dteanga. No need to put them on ice though. Nothing constant but change
@ciaranmullooly@Kinosay@tonyd1306@independent_ire@ESBNetworks@IrishWater I have every sympathy for that lady and more should be done to help her but no way did the '' commission' decide not to help cause Ireland didn't call back. I would expect a representative to delve a little deeper than that frankly

Like many of my colleagues, I'm calling for the immediate release of Dr Hussam AbuSafiya from Israeli detention in #Gaza and a stop to the deliberate & systematic destruction of Palestinian health care.

I’m Dr Tlaleng Mofokeng, a medical doctor & the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right of everyone to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, I DEMAND the release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya from a brutal detention by Israel.

@BrianLeddin Go neirí leat a Bhrian.
Was proud to be a very small part of your campaign. It has been wonderful to watch all that you have achieved over the last five years.
A legacy to be proud of.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
@Irelandunites@HoraLeslie Carbon taxes have been in place since 2010. Greens ring-fenced any increases to support those who need it most, for example through fuel allowances, retrofits & farmers. Read more here: https://t.co/63A92nabON
FFG have taken credit for climate action & let the Greens take the blame for the pain..'It would be a betrayal on the part of Simon Harris and Micheál Martin were they not to go into coalition with parties committed to progressive environmental agendas'

@AislingAon@PaulTreyvaud That is just untrue.
It astounds me how people think they can just throw mud at the green party without basis.
Every party supported carbon tax.
Green Party has hugely supported retrofits for those in fuel poverty, basic income for the arts, reduced public transport costs.
