🚨Attention Massachusetts: Why hasn’t this story made the news?

On August 24th, at the annual “Dadurday Event” in Lawrence, families came together to celebrate fathers and children. Volunteers donated their time, including free back-to-school haircuts for kids, a true act of service to the community.

But while giving back, Joe Terilli, a master barber from Jake’s Chop Shop, was stabbed multiple times. He suffered a collapsed lung and other serious injuries and was rushed to Lawrence General Hospital. This happened four days ago and yet there’s been silence from the media and Massachusetts leadership.

How is it that a man nearly killed while serving his community doesn’t make headlines? Is it because it happened in Lawrence? Or because it doesn’t fit the narrative the media and Beacon Hill want to push?

This is exactly why trust in leadership and journalism is at an all-time low. Crime and violence are affecting real people, and instead of shining a light on it, the establishment chooses to look away.

🙏 Keep Joe and his family in your prayers and demand accountability from the politicians and media who continue to fail us and tell us our cities are safe.
