Electric-assist bikes get more people on bikes and that is a goal for the League. But proposing standards will help set the direction quicker for everyone. -@BillNesper

LAB doesn’t have a policy on ebikes, yet. Overwhelmingly, members feel pedal-assist bikes are bikes, but as they move to less bike-like attributes, they aren’t. LAB needs to set a standard and communicate that. - @BillNesper

State and local advocacy groups need your support, as does the League of American Bicyclists. Give of your time and treasures to help them help us! - @BillNesper

Bicycle Friendly Communites are where people want to live, work, and visit. As you move up the award levels, health outcomes improves for residents. - @BillNesper

There are 450 Bicycle Friendly Communities in all 50 states. 1 in 4 Americans lives in a BFC at bronze or above level. -@BillNesper
