For many years, beekeepers kept telling us they noticed unique characteristics about their local Californian honeybee colonies. So we asked: are others seeing the same thing?
While this doesn’t provide definitive proof of anything yet, it’s a strong indication that there’s something here worth investigating. This paper is a starting point: a snapshot of what the beekeeping community is observing, and where future research can follow.
