This year's winning solution was Team Burgundy (Tammy Wong, Sara Maqsood Maqsood, and Saabiha Ahmad)! The group of ladies designed a piezoelectric transducers, placed under tiles of well-trafficked areas in the MacKimmie complex, to convert kinetic energy into usable electricity!
What a wild weekend at CIC 2018! Our final four teams pitched forwards their innovative solutions to address sustainability from a student context to a panel of expert judges! Thank you to all the participants, mentors, judges, and organizing committee for making this possible!
