Last month, the library brought aboard Manda Carr as the head of youth and teen services and Sissy Phillips as community relations and volunteer coordinator.

*SERVICE UPDATE*
We reopen our building today for Phase 5 service - the shelves are available to browse(!), with social distancing and state-mandated capacity restriction in place.
Federal Tax forms have arrived and are available in our lobby. You are also welcome to print additional forms in our computer lab. We are still waiting for Michigan tax forms to arrive!
TODAY 10am: Lobby pick-up and our computer lab will be available. Curbside service continues; please use the outdoor dropbox for all returns, thank you!
UPDATE: CIDL will move to Phase 4 of our reopening plan on Monday, January 25. Phase 4 includes access to our computer lab and all print, fax, and scan equipment. Our lobby will also be open for item pickup. The rest of our building remains closed; curbside service continues!
CIDL will be closed through Wednesday, December 9th for deep cleaning because of a COVID exposure. Curbside Service will be suspended during this period. Thank you for your understanding!
While our building remains closed, Curbside Service is as popular as ever! Staff are available during regular business hours to place holds, answer questions, renew library cards and more!
The library building will close tomorrow, Wed, Nov 18th, as we move back to Phase 3 of our opening plan. The building is open for browsing until 9 pm tonight, Tues., Nov. 17! Curbside Service from 11/18 onward.
UPDATED service announcement: CIDL will move to Phase 3 and close our building effective Wednesday, Nov. 18. Curbside service will continue, Wifi is available in our parking lot, and librarians will be available by phone/chat to reserve items and answer account questions.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: CIDL will step back to Phase 4 of our reopening plan on Wednesday, November 18th. Curbside Service will continue, but our building will close. Our computers, printer, fax, and scanner machines will be available, as will notary services, in our Comm Mtg Rm.
ROAD UPDATE: Today, there is a small road closure just west of the library on Clarkston Road. Direct access to CIDL from M-15 (Main St.) is unavailable - the posted detour on M-15 is via Waldon / Walters / Flemings Lk Rd to Clarkston Rd.
