"This character is straight"
"But they could be bi stop being a bigot!"
"So this character is bi?"
"No they are queer/gay/trans devs didn't confirm it. Stop forcing your straight propaganda!"
Rexlent: Racist, homophobic, ableist, lolicon, virtue signaling crybaby who pretends to hate drama yet tries to character assassinate any CC he doesn’t like.
Narushio: pretended to be an official Kuro channel two years ago for views
…….yeah so anyways 🤦🏾♀️
Another case of gamba addict's member doxxing people for what?
Role playing as game character??
So insecure when their yuri agenda flops they try to harm people and if we retaliate then we are the bad people 😃
Lgbt are c@c3r to gaming communities we gotta stop them.
Hello everyone, There has been some information shared about me, both from the past and recently, which I would like to clarify below:
Rexlent, the official Wuthering Waves/Punishing Gray Raven content creator, is the person who brought up concerns on a livestream. However, there was some false information as well as other information I would like to clarify in this document. I don't want this to start drama with anyone; I just want to clear the air.
With that being said though, I will unfollow/block each and every person I see participating in hate culture. Hating on someone just because you don't share the same opinion, and on top of that being racist towards me over it, isn't okay.
To start, there are plenty of things I've done that are deserving of backlash. But one thing is for sure: I don't hide the fact I'm not an official creator or officially part of the Wuthering Waves Creator Program. I have never pretended to be an official creator of Wuthering Waves. I have clearly stated that in my bio and on YouTube. As for my name, I am bad at picking up nicknames, so I picked whatever came to mind. I went with it back then; I never thought it would cause me harm later on. I have asked and tried to change my name many times, but people always say one thing to me: "Do not change your name; it's iconic to us, not because it's similar to Wuthering Waves but because you were the only person who shared news about the game ever since CBT1."
To clarify another point as well, for people who think I started making WuWa content because of the hype train. I never had the opportunity to do anything. I was busy with other jobs and other life problems. What I always wanted was to share content of my favorite game ever since I started playing Warframe back in 2013. I had no confidence and no courage to do anything (that's still the case with how I write things on Twitter without knowing what I want to express, which makes people think I'm trying to pretend to be nice).
I will admit, though that I have a very bad problem, and I should say that out loud in front of everyone: I do things based on impulse, without thinking about what will happen afterwards. These are some things I take accountability for and/or clarify:
Firstly, as I mentioned before, I never pretended to be Waves' account; this is false information that was stated in the livestream. I always clarify that “Im not the official person; please check this account.” I also talked with Kuro staff about if I can use the chibi Yangyang profile picture; they told me you can use it until you get your original picture. I always ask for permission; I’m not that kind of person who just does things for the sake of clout.
Secondly, I want to address my ban from the official wuthering waves discord. I was trying to defend PGR however, I was rude to the server’s mod which resulted in my ban. No matter my intention, what I said wasn't okay and I apologize for that.
Then I copyright struck someone without knowing how badly it would harm them, which I learned my lesson from the hard way. I apologized to that creator privately about it afterward.
Next, I saw YouTube gave me the opportunity to enable channel memberships. It was written, "Try to offer something to people who support." Back then, I didn't know adding game assets to this type of thing is illegal. I still to this day regret that decision. I really didn’t know until that a creator pinged me and told me to remove it, and I did right away. Now everything is available on my server, open and free for everyone to download those files I just happen to collect because it's my hobby (I like collecting things; that’s what playing Warframe does to someone).
I did ask a JP person for PGR CN beta access. I will not deny it. I’m ashamed of it, and it will forever be my mark of shame. I didn't have any ill intentions behind it, but it was still wrong all the same. I apologize for it. On the same day, I worded the tweet very badly, saying I’m the only creator who covers beta stuff. That was bad wording on my side. What I was trying to say is nobody in the GL-side space tried to cover the beta life cycle of PGR beta, where each patch has certain changes that people want to see but need to search for on Bilibili. I wanted to bridge that gap, so I even asked many PGR CCs from CN if I could use their videos with permission, and I said that I would send them screenshots and link all the places I used their videos. Yes, I always post content with permission; I won’t post content without permission. If I did post anything, I made sure their credit was upfront in the center of the post with links to the original, not buried belkow the post. Another reason I asked for access is because I didn’t want to leech off other creators; I wanted to work on content myself and not just use their work for myself, which I never conveyed at the time because I had no ground to stand on. I was at fault, and I should be ashamed of myself. I also told each and every person who tried to defend their post that it’s clearly my fault, so you should not blame them for bringing it late or early. It’s my fault, so they should not be getting any hate. I even formally apologized to him.
No, my followers didn’t fully buy me the GPU I paid $700 for it myself. I was just short on funds, which I could only get a week later. But with Wuthering Waves 2.4, one of the biggest updates, and the PGR beta coming up, I had no other choice but to make that post. I only accepted the exact amount I needed, nothing more. Honestly, I was crying when people started sending me support. I couldn’t process how to take their hard-earned money; it meant so much to me. That’s why I’ve been pushing myself harder ever since then, working late nights and trying to create content that gives back to my followers and subscribers, the same way they helped me when I needed it most.
Also, this was my fault too: when my friend was getting attacked on Twitter, I told my followers to report that account, which I apologize for and take back. I shouldn’t have done that.
I want to begin to complete this whole document by saying a few things so everyone knows about me clearly. I do not pretend to hide things; I say what I like, and I say what I dislike. I started creating content because I finally had the confidence and the opportunity to do so not because of hype, which people are thinking I joined the hype train for. The things I do with my channel are things I like, not some cult trying to pretend they want to become big just for money. Money isn't what I'm in this for; I simply just enjoy these games. I recently even started streaming.
I also want to address something else: even though my accent may be different than what you’re used to, that doesn’t mean you have the right to be racist towards me. No one should ever be mocked based on their accent, ethnicity, or race. If you are taking part in these behaviors, please reflect on your actions and do better.
I would also like to speak about my Vtuber model. I have seen people saying it’s based on Yangyang and Xiangli Yao. My artist put her heart and soul into this project for 1 year, going through all types of hairstyles, forms, and dress codes, but we always ended up with something very close to Kuro. That’s why we posted the first version of the Vtuber model for feedback. Once we heard the feedback, we changed the entire design and made it something akin to an original Vtuber instead of trying to pretend.
After reading all this, if you think I’m faking it, that's your right; however, I have said my piece. But please know, I’m still a very open-minded person who talks things out in public and in DMs when I should. If I did something wrong, you could just DM me, “Naru, you shouldn’t say that,” and I will accept it and try to improve on that instead of disagreeing with you.
And to all the followers on both sides of the spectrum (Twitter & YouTube): if you have a problem with me, say it to my face instead of talking behind my back about it.
And for others who will still follow me after reading this: I will improve and become a better person. If I make mistakes, please stop me and give me feedback on what I did wrong. I will try to improve that, and that’s it for today. Thanks for reading. Have a beautiful day, evening, and night.
