Youโre arguing against a caricature of collectivism instead of what Iโm actually saying. Wanting people to have access to healthcare housing food and a reasonable quality of life isnโt expecting someone else to do everything for you. People can believe in hard work personal responsibility entrepreneurship all that and still believe that economic prosperity should benefit more than just the people at the top
@ColterOwen@Riokid87@_itzsammy So your position is that unless someone starts a business, employs people, and personally demonstrates an alternative economic model, theyโre not allowed to criticize the existing one?
@ColterOwen@Riokid87@_itzsammy You managed to turn a conversation about improving peopleโs quality of life into an accusation of jealousy because apparently the only way you can defend the system is by pretending anyone who criticizes it must secretly wish they were rich. Thatโs not an argument
At some point we need to question why a society with more wealth, technology and resources than any previous generation still struggles to guarantee ordinary people a decent quality of life
