Based on my understanding of what can be seen on the backend of Kick, Kick can see exactly who is botting/being botted, some are victims of botting harassment and aren't to be blamed, however, most, are botting and hiding behind that same plausible deniability; because of this, no action can be taken onto their accounts.

Now if I may speculate, I say all of this so everyone can understand twitch should see it too, they've had 15 years on Kick to perfect their backend systems, they've had 15 years of real data from real streamers to know and understand the difference, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at these graphs and understand who the botters are. There is no excuse.

To further my speculation, ***HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM IS, the system itself is broken, there are no checks and balances, so this leads to Twitch being able to play the same plausible deniability card as the streamers play, let me explain this in simple terms, ***Twitch isn't responsible for what is "deemed" a "real viewer", their streaming service they use is***, so because of this, Twitch get their plausible deniability and get to keep the appearance of high current viewership which is then shown to advertisers.*** If we as creators want a more fair system, then whatever streaming service is used for whatever platform in question, would need to better their security and would have to have a non-profiting third party examine those systems. Right now, the checks and balances are all done by people who BENEFIT from the BOTTED NUMBERS.***

To continue my speculation, I strongly believe that twitch's "anti viewbotting announcement" was released to LEGITIMIZE their largest botted creators in order to maintain their current position analytically. I think that they saw how much of their numbers were botted in the english speaking category and because of their plausible deniability decided to legitimize it instead of fix it. Nothing else makes sense to me, the botting isn't even close to mimicking real stats, it is the most blatant sloppy botting that any streamer with any real experience in the streaming world could catch.

Twitch, Kick and other platforms alike, need to do better. Even if action can't be taken against these obviously and preposterously botted accounts then at the very least all platforms need to stop showcasing, and legitimizing these botters by interacting with them or pushing them on official platform social media accounts and/or front paging/recommending them. It is a disgrace to the streaming world and a disgrace to the hard working streamer who grinds endless hours.
