최종 투표 결과와는 별개로, 서비스 장애로 인해 정상적인 투표권을 행사하지 못한 이용자들은 해당 장애의 원인과 처리 과정에 대한 충분한 설명을 들을 권리가 있으며, 이에 따른 적절한 구제 방안 또한 마련될 필요가 있다고 판단됩니다.

투표 종료 약 3분 전인 2026년 7월 13일 오전 9시 57분경부터 BIGC 앱에서 접속 불가 또는 심각한 지연 현상이 발생하였고, 이로 인해 다수의 이용자가 정상적으로 투표를 완료하지 못하였습니다.

당시 다수의 이용자는 투표를 위해 유료 재화인 ROYAL GEM을 사전에 준비하고 있었으나, 시스템 장애로 인해 이를 사용하지 못하였습니다.

이에 BIGC는 다음 사항에 대하여 객관적인 자료에 근거한 설명을 제공하여 주시기를 요청드립니다.

1. 2026년 7월 13일 오전 9시 57분경 발생한 서비스 장애의 원인

2. 장애 발생 시점부터 투표 종료 시점까지 접수된 투표 데이터의 처리 방식

3. 서비스 장애로 인해 투표에 참여하지 못한 이용자에 대한 구제 방안, 특히 미사용 ROYAL GEM의 환불 가능 여부

유료 재화를 구매한 이용자는 정상적인 서비스 제공과 안정적인 투표 절차가 보장될 것이라는 신뢰를 바탕으로 서비스를 이용합니다.

따라서 서비스 장애로 인해 이용자가 정상적으로 투표를 하지 못하였다면, 서비스 제공자는 이용자가 납득할 수 있도록 그 원인과 처리 경과를 투명하게 설명할 책임이 있습니다.

이에 BIGC는 본 사안의 발생 원인, 장애 발생 및 처리 경과, 투표 데이터의 처리 방식과 검증 절차를 투명하게 공개하여 주시고, 서비스 장애로 인해 발생한 이용자들의 피해에 대해서도 합리적인 구제 방안을 마련하여 주시기 바랍니다.
