@chris_kratovil Have to try even if limited chance of success. A player caught betting on his team playing another down is existential threat to college football (athletics) . Maybe you get sane ruling from a different judge saying for ex Big 12 can issue its own 10 game conference suspension.

@PassportHaven @On3 @RossDellenger The court decision quite clearly prevents NCAA from preventing him from playing. Big 12 and schools are not a party to this case and not bound by it. Will result in lawsuit but maybe big 12 9 game suspension which is clearly supported by facts gets a sane ruling from court.

@chris_kratovil NCAA is different than Big 12 and teams on TTU schedule. Nothing stopping Big 12 from issuing 9 game conference suspension or schools to refuse to play Texas Tech. Yes will likely end in lawsuits but maybe you get a sane ruling. CFB facing an existential threat try everything.

@SportsLawGuy What would happen if schools on Texas Tech schedule simply refused to play Texas Tech? The idea someone can bet on his team get caught and serve a 2 game suspension is laughable and a threat to the sport of college football.

@TaylorTwellman @BenBrecher18 Why? Not a fan of either team but I see a player denying an obvious goal scoring chance inside the box without a play on the ball. Sanction for that by rule is a peantly and a red card.

@DrewGarrison The 17th game should be international. Gives NFL 16 games a year (I know we are to 18 eventually) and ensures it is always a non conference game (some of which would be good matchups). Everyone plays 8 home 8 away and 1 international

@joel_wisecup @bryce_spalding Reds are out of minor league pitchers without a 40 man move (or corresponding IL move). Only pitchers in minors right now are Maxwell and Nicholas (have not spent required 15 days) and Aguilar (Hurt). Could have used for extra position player but likely would not play.
