Security Notice for 6/10–14/2025
Multiple protests and rallies are announced across Tucson and surrounding areas, focused primarily on anti-ICE policy and related political causes. Similar demonstrations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City this past week escalated into violence, property damage, and mass arrests. Other cities, including Austin, Chicago, Detroit, Phoenix, and Philadelphia, have also experienced disruptions.
Reported Tucson-area activity:
• 6/11 (Afternoon) – Anti-ICE protest in the Valencia & Country Club area.
• 6/13 (Morning) – Rally near the VA Medical Center.
• 6/13 (Evening) – “Death of Due Process” protest near downtown federal buildings.
• 6/14 (Morning to Evening) – Multiple “No Kings” rallies and motor marches across the region, including Vail, Reid Park, Oro Valley, Green Valley/Sahuarita, and central Tucson.
While the situation remains uncertain, exercise heightened caution throughout the week.
