Section 224 has gotten attention. Section 622 hasn't, but it should.
Buried in the 192-page Senate intelligence authorization bill is a provision that would require US intelligence agencies to share classified intelligence on virtually every topic of Middle East interest with Israel.
Any pause or reduction would require congressional approval from a Congress that has shown little appetite for restricting Israel.
This is the same strategy as Section 224: take what used to be a public, congressionally appropriated relationship — one the public could pressure lawmakers to restrict — and move it somewhere less visible, less accountable, and harder to reverse.

@Miami8128@GovGoneWild Their response there was no basis for the claims that the state is making. this is all smoke and mirrors politics designed to take over local control and hand it over to Tallahassee
@GovGoneWild Ask why the Republicans Board created the budget for spending. Property taxes aren't the issue. Home and Auto insurance is more in Florida than in California and New York. But thats not the agenda. The agenda is for Florida Governor to control all 67 counties.
@GovGoneWild These comments might hit home with your followers, but the reality is,this is a campaign with unfounded assertions to take away local control, especially because we have a Democratic mayor. I don’t want big government in Tallahassee deciding what we spend our money on.
@GovGoneWild Our city is making more progress since the Deegan administration than I’ve seen in years- more positive development downtown, parks, a historic community benefit ma agreement and riverfront investment. This unfounded smear campaign is just a power grab to take away local control.
@LostAtS93990553@SkyNews@skygillian@zoesqwilliams Well, that’s not what the presenter said and I’m gonna believe her but my point still stands. Israel’s violence to the ME Arabs is what has created a huge increase in hate crimes for Jews and Arabs. The UK’s complicity with it has a backlash. Not an excuse- just a reality
An influential pro-Israel lobby group named ELNET has been quietly taking UK journalists on propaganda tours of Israel, @jmcevoy_2 reveals.
The journalists who participated have written for the Telegraph, Spectator, and Mail on Sunday, among others.

Two economists just published a mathematical proof that AI will destroy the economy.
Not might. Not could. Will — if nothing changes.
The paper is called "The AI Layoff Trap." Published March 2, 2026. Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Boston University. Peer reviewed. Mathematically modeled.
The conclusion is one sentence.
"At the limit, firms automate their way to boundless productivity and zero demand."
An economy that produces everything. And sells it to nobody.
Here is how you get there.
A company fires 500 workers and replaces them with AI. A competitor fires 700 to keep up. Another fires 1,000. Every company is behaving rationally. Every company is following the incentives correctly. And every company is building a trap for itself.
Because the workers who were fired were also customers.
When they lose their jobs faster than the economy can absorb them, they stop spending. Consumer demand falls. Companies respond by cutting costs — which means automating more workers — which means less spending — which means more falling demand — which means more automation.
The loop has no natural exit.
The researchers tested every proposed solution. Universal basic income. Capital income taxes. Worker equity participation. Upskilling programs. Corporate coordination agreements.
Every single one failed in the model.
The only intervention that worked: a Pigouvian automation tax — a per-task levy charged every time a company replaces a human with AI, forcing them to price in the demand they are destroying before they pull the trigger.
No government has implemented this. No major economy is seriously discussing it.
Meanwhile the numbers are already tracking the curve. 100,000 tech workers laid off in 2025. 92,000 more in the first months of 2026. Jack Dorsey fired half of Block's workforce and said publicly: "Within the next year, the majority of companies will reach the same conclusion."
Nobody is doing anything wrong. Companies are following their incentives perfectly. That is exactly the problem.
Rational behavior. At scale. Simultaneously. With no mechanism to stop it.
Two economists built the math. The math leads to one place.

@david_sivella@NYCMayor@ZohranKMamdani Elected officials need protection from threats. Schools in NY all have security-you can’t just walk onto any campus. They don’t need buffer zones for protest. That’s just suppression of free speech and it’s Israel talking so no Pro Palestinian protests can happen. #FREEPALESTİNE
@moshespern@NYCMayor Jews are not an exceptional group of people and they shouldn’t require special protection -to pretend that they’re threatened in schools and need buffer zones is to suppress free speech.
🚨 Smotrich: West Bank Settlement Expansion Has “Full Backing” of Trump Administration
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich told the Jerusalem Post that Israel’s accelerating settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank is being carried out with full U.S. support, coordinated directly with President Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Ambassador Mike Huckabee.
▪️ Since the current government took office in 2022, over 51,000 housing units have been approved for the West Bank, according to Smotrich’s office.
▪️ The Sa-Nur settlement in West Bank, evacuated 20 years ago under Israel’s Disengagement Plan, was reestablished Sunday, with over a dozen families already in residence. Smotrich said more settlements would follow “very soon.”
▪️ Smotrich called on Netanyahu to order the IDF to prepare for the “full conquest” of the Gaza Strip and the establishment of Israeli settlements there as well.
▪️ He said Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank are “part of the Iranian axis of evil” and dismissed documented Jewish extremist violence against Palestinians as “one of the biggest false campaigns there is.”
▪️ On international condemnation: “In the past, even building 50 housing units would lead to condemnation. Today it is very different.”
Smotrich acknowledged Trump has not yet backed full West Bank annexation, but claimed “we will also succeed in that.”
Last month, the City Council passed two bills related to the constitutional right to protest — one for houses of worship, and one for educational institutions.
Today, I’m letting one bill go into effect, and vetoing the other. I’d like to take a moment to explain why.
As Mayor, I will always make sure the right to protest, prayer and protection are guaranteed for every New Yorker.
The White House is completely silent as BBC confirms a consistent pattern of massive financial spikes occurring just minutes before Donald Trump makes market moving announcements. The administration is facing severe allegations of illegally profiteering off inside knowledge.
Ossoff: "How does American politics really work? It's coin operated. Money goes in, favors come out. It's been running on secret money, corporate money, billionaire money ... all of this gave rise to a depraved president who exploits this rot to empower and enrich himself"
