@AmericanAir, please do the proper thing and reimburse me for the damage you did to my suitcase. I filed a claim the day after I got back from a week-long international trip, and your claim rep denied it because apparently you have a 7-day policy to report it. This is not right!

@AmericanAir How was I supposed to know that or do that? My trip was for 7 days. I took photos of the damage, as well as the suitcase in perfect new condition before departure, and I filed my claim the day after returning from my trip. This is a reasonable amount of time to submit the claim.

@AmericanAir And I'm not able to use my suitcase. The claim rep will not return my emails or calls. By law, you are responsible for reimbursing me for damaging my property.
