That might not even cover everything if the bags are a total loss. His dental appliance was 3k which he should have carried on in hindsight 🤦🏻♀️
@RedskinsTexas@DFWAirport@AmericanAir The agent at Charleston finally said we would get a $3800 per bag reimbursement for items but of course everything is closed today. Thanks a lot for telling us on Christmas and not the last 3 days AA. 🤬
@RedskinsTexas@DFWAirport@AmericanAir My partner’s snoring device is in his luggage so I haven’t slept for 4 nights soundly and this is also driving me nuts. He also needs vital meds as we’ve gone through everything we had with us in carry on.

@AmericanAir@FarzanaDhamiUK Day 4 without our bags. I understand there was a major storm but we flew through Dallas and are in Charleston now. The storm has passed. Flights are moving. Has everyone given up? Every passing hour is making me want to put AA on my permanent no fly list. Vital items missing.
@AmericanAir@gypsysoul17x Same problems. Lost bags 4 days now. Claim doesn’t even show everything I entered for bag description and zero info or updates on the useless claim status website. We’ve had to drive back to the airport in person to get updates and that’s not helpful either.
@jackiebaughmo@AmericanAir Same problem and today is when I’ve completely started to lose it after being patient for 4 days. AA canceled the flight due to mechanical issues and tried to rebook us on the worst option ever. We made it to CLT but bags in limbo. Zero vouchers or compensation.
@AmericanAir@bjkcnc An agent literally said there was a fuck up with bags in Dallas. AA with a tech glitch. Where on earth are all our bags. Day 4 now with zero updates and zero movement. How hard is it to get bags to Charleston from Dallas???
@AmericanAir @bethhuff59 Day 4 here too. Zero updates in the worst website ever for delayed/LOST bags. Unable to talk to anyone on the phone. Have had to drive to the airport at this point every morning to talk to someone.
@fredgarvin99 @AmericanAir Same problem. Stuck in Dallas. I know it is Christmas but @AmericanAir was the one who cancelled the flights and due to mechanical issues — not even the storm. I’m losing my mind and it’s been 4 days.
@erinconway_@AmericanAir I’m going on day 4 with no bags. AA is ruining Christmas. The storm has passed in Dallas and Charleston. Worst app and delayed bags status updates ever. No one cares about our bags. Good luck to you too.
.@AmericanAir 4 days without our bags with an open claim. The bags have been in Dallas for 4 days, no status updates, can’t talk to anyone on the phone, we are now having to go to the airport every day in Charleston to talk to someone in person. We are missing vital medication.
