@DivyaSeokjinnie Exactly! The second question is just another bh purposely made question for him to emphasise the family agenda again and we are already sick of this throughout the whole agenda 🙄

[260627 El País] BTS in Madrid: a strong sense of community but a lack of enthusiasm
I don’t think I’ve ever read a concert review about the boys like this before.
If I could highlight one thing, it would be:
"The band [...] returns to the roots they helped bring to the world’s attention [...] That is the promise of the album. However, the live performance almost entirely belies it."
"At a BTS concert, the sense of togetherness is built in"
"What follows detracts from the rest of the performance: there is no traditional orchestra or live band, and the mix is little more than a stereo backing track over which the singer performs… and they don’t always sing"
"The stage – open, oval-shaped and positioned right in the centre of the field, [...] – becomes bleak as soon as one looks away from the screens that take up the entire space."
"The choreography, for years the main selling point of the group and the industry surrounding it, is rationed to specific moments. The rest of the time, the seven members simply walk along the ramps"
"The only clear nod to the promised Korean identity lasts a few seconds: at one point, the dancers use their bodies to form the South Korean flag"
"The rest is a generic stadium concert and, given its scale, strikingly lackluster."
"None of that is the most revealing aspect. The distance is. If anything sets BTS apart, it is the devotion of their audience [...] In return, they receive a superficial sense of closeness.[...] They barely shake hands. They prefer to wave to the upper tiers rather than to those standing right next to them"
"Shortly before, they speak in Korean [...] a translator relays it into Spanish, which she doesn’t fully master: for a few minutes, the world’s biggest pop group and their Madrid fans half-understand each other, through someone who doesn’t quite"
"At the BTS concert, the screens take centre stage because the concert is designed to be watched later on another screen."
"South Korea has been exporting its culture as a matter of state policy for two decades, and BTS is its most visible product"
"[...] here, folklore functions as recycled heritage, a label of origin stamped onto the very same machinery as any other tour"
"Arirang told the story of a farewell at a mountain pass: someone who crosses over and someone who stays behind, waiting. Last night, the band didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to the audience; to say goodbye, you first have to have got close enough."

Not to ruin the mood, but I can still gradually feel this vibe throughout the whole concert era especially from those behind the scene, that’s why until today it is still hard for me to get excited for the content, except those solo focus content that can lighten me up 🫠🫠🫠
Oh nooo, Seokjin is wearing the Happy jacket! 😭 Don't do this to me, Jin. I miss your solo era so much 😭 And the staff has a Wootteo keychain on his bag 🥹 My God, I finally saw Jin today
I was going crazy from missing him 😭
HAVE A SAFE FLIGHT JIN
When I watch these kinds of videos again, and see him looking so happy, with his beaming smile and sparkling eyes, my heart knows that it was a time of fulfilment for Jin.
I think he deserves to experience something like that again… I think many of us deserve to experience something like that again…
I hope we get to hear four full minutes of 12 or 13 songs featuring only Jin’s voice…
Everything began to change when the govt wanted to exempt them w/o giving other idols a free pass. The hard push was if they won a Grammy, the grp could be exempted, they could continue to perform and the economy boost would continue. Sj never asked for exemption nor did he want it! He’s a proud Korean and looked forward to serving his country. Now it seems a Grammy win is for the sake of longevity. Not everyone can financially secure their future with different sources of income like sj 😉 he is sustainable w/o BH but not all of them have that luxury. Some of them need that Grammy win to work w other artists in the music industry to sustain themselves financially. While some of them only have music as a sustainable source of income, sj has music and a multitude of other options! The reason Arirang came out was for an entirely different purpose than what we were expecting and the music reflects that.
